Eight principles
Zero negotiation

Eco Laser Cleaning is a Swiss surface treatment company. We remove rust, paint, oxide, soot and graffiti from industrial and heritage surfaces using only pulsed light - no chemicals, no abrasives, no liquid waste.

The promise

A short note before the principles begin - read this once, and the rest of the page will make sense.

We don't promise pristine surfaces. We promise to leave the original untouched beneath the contamination.

01 – First principle

No chemistry. Ever

Laser cleaning produces no liquid waste, no chemical run-off, no detergent residue. The only thing that leaves our equipment is vaporised contamination - captured by extraction, filtered, and disposed of in accordance with Swiss environmental law.

This is not a sustainability badge. It's the only way the process works.

Chemical-free
02 – Second principle

The substrate is sacred

Whether 18th-century sandstone or aerospace-grade aluminium, we calibrate the beam to the material - wavelength, pulse duration, fluence - before anything else. The contamination leaves. The original surface stays.

We don't compromise on this. Not for a deadline, not for a discount.

Non-destructive
03 – Third principle

If we're not sure, we walk away

Not every surface belongs to laser cleaning. Some coatings absorb light unpredictably. Some substrates are too thin. We test on a sample patch first, every time.

If the test doesn't meet our standard, we tell you - and recommend an alternative method or partner. We'd rather lose a contract than deliver substandard work.

Tested before quoted
04 – Fourth principle

Switzerland sets the bar. We meet it

Every intervention complies with SUVA occupational safety guidelines, ISO process standards, and GMP protocols where the project requires it.

Our team works in four languages and operates under cantonal regulation across all 26 cantons - without exception, without shortcuts.

Swiss compliance
The choice

Sandblasting erodes. Chemicals corrode. Brushes wear. A precise pulse of light at the right frequency lifts only the contamination - and nothing else.

05 – Fifth principle

Mobile, not stationary

We bring the equipment to your site. Factory floor, historical façade, railway depot, private workshop - there's no need to dismantle, transport, or wait. Mobile units, fully self-contained, on-site within the week of approval.

The work happens where the surface lives.

On-site service
06 – Sixth principle

Demonstrations before quotes

Before any project, we travel to your location and perform a free on-site test - typically 30 to 60 minutes on a representative section.

You see the exact result, on your exact surface, before any number is committed to paper. We learned the hard way that photographs of other people's projects don't tell you anything about yours.

07 – Seventh principle

Light is enough

Industry has spent a century trying every method to remove a layer without damaging what's underneath. We have settled on light.

A pulsed fibre laser at the right wavelength heats only the contaminant. The substrate beneath stays cool, intact, and indifferent. For most professional cleaning work, this is the only honest tool.

Light-only process
08 – Eighth principle

Transparent or nothing

Every quote breaks down by surface area, contaminant type, access conditions, and travel. No hidden minimums. No upsells mid-project. No vague hourly rates.

If the scope changes on-site - and sometimes it does - we stop, document it, and discuss with you before continuing. The number we wrote down is the number you pay.

Climate position

Aligned with the Swiss Climate Target 2030

Switzerland has committed to halving greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and reaching net-zero by 2050. Laser cleaning replaces high-emission processes - solvent vapours, transported abrasive media, contaminated wastewater - with a fully electric, locally-powered alternative.

We don't claim our work alone solves the problem. We claim it removes a category of emissions from the industries we serve. Swiss Climate Target 2030 →
